The Rib & Chop House Opens in Bozeman, Montana

Montana’s Rib & Chop House officially opened its doors to guests in Bozeman, Montana on Tuesday, September 15th. After months of planning, renovations to an existing building and staff training, the Rib & Chop House team is pleased to finally be open and to have the opportunity to showcase our special brand of “Rocky Mountain Hospitality” — a unique philosophy which incorporates a passion for quality service and exceptional food in a casual atmosphere.

The Rib & Chop House is know throughout the West as a family-friendly steak house serving the finest Certified Angus Beef steaks, fresh seafood and award-winning baby back ribs. With contemporary steak house fare, classic Cajun influences, light lunch options, and a great options for kids, our menu offers something for everyone. We also feature a full bar with over 30 local and regional craft beers on tap and large HD screens in the bar with the NFL package and other sports.

Located just off 19th Avenue near Target and Costco in Bozeman, the 300-seat restaurant is housed in what used to be the old Johnny Carino’s. The second-generation building utilizes a lot of the old structure with repurposed original materials. The most significant changes to the building include an improved/expanded bar area in the center of the space, a 100-seat private dinning room for gatherings and parties, and a modern outside dining patio with fire pit.

With locations in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah, the Bozeman restaurant marks the eleventh Rib & Chop House to open. The restaurant was founded in Livingston, Montana in 2001 and is part of the Finally Restaurant Group.

Rib & Chop House Opening In Colorado Springs, April 2019

Colorado Springs, Colorado – April 18, 2019 – After 18 years in business, the Rib & Chop House — well known for its Certified Angus Beef steaks, fresh seafood, award-winning babyback ribs — has found a new home in Colorado Springs. Established in Livingston, Montana in 2001, the family-friendly steakhouse is excited about the opportunity to open in a town as vibrant as Colorado Springs, and to serve the great folks of Colorado.

Located on the corner of Powers and Dublin, the new restaurant will become the company’s 10th Rib & Chop House. With existing locations in Montana, Utah and Wyoming, this will be the first Colorado opening.

Colorado’s Rib & Chop House plans to open on Monday, April 29th, 2019. Hours of operations will be 11:00am – 10:00pm, Sunday – Thursday and 11:00am – 11:00pm, Friday and Saturday. Happy hour will be 3:00 – 7:00pm and 9:00pm – close, Monday – Friday.

The menu will offer all the customer favorites that have helped the concept grow, including a small plates menu, a seasonal select menu and daily specials. The bar will feature specialty drinks, famous Chop House margaritas, 30 craft beers on tap, sports coverage on HD big screens and smiling bartenders.

Chop House Opening in Gillette, Wyoming Mid November

We are excited to open our new Gillette location in mid November and we look forward to being a part of the Gillette community! Here’s a recent press release about the Gillette restaurant:

October 3, 2016 – After 15 years in the Wyoming market, Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House—well known for their seafood, award winning babybacks and CAB steaks served on 500 degree plates—has found a new home in Gillette. Established in Livingston, Montana in 2001, the small restaurant company is excited about the opportunity to open in a town as dynamic as Gillette, and to serve the great folks of northeastern Wyoming. Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House and the Schilling family have agreed that the former Jordan’s Steak House will become the restaurant company’s 11th Rib & Chop House and 4th location in Wyoming.

“The restaurant is perfect! We will change very little of the interior, exterior and kitchen. It’s like the building was designed for us.” said Preston Chiasson, the new restaurant’s proprietor. Chiasson is one of the most tenured Rib & Chop House owners with over 14 years of experience with the company. “In the bar area, we are adding several large screen TV’s and a larger beer tap system to offer our guests a better experience and a larger variety of craft beers. In the kitchen, we are bringing in our custom broiler that cooks steaks at 1,800 degrees. Those will be the only changes. The restaurant was spotless, and the decor makes the perfect setting for a casual dining experience. I don’t think we will take a picture off the wall.”

Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House plans to open in the middle of November. They will start hiring October 17th, and training will begin November 7th. They are planning on hiring more than 50 full-time and about 25 part-time employees. Hours of operations will be 11:00am – 9:30pm daily in the winter with expanded hours in the summer. The patio, with five outdoor fire pits, will be open for summertime once weather permits.

The menu will offer all the items that have helped the concept grow, including a separate lunch menu and gluten free menu. The bar will feature specialty drinks, their famous margaritas, craft beers, complete sports coverage on HD big screens and smiling bartenders.

The opening date is not set in stone, but the Rib & Chop House will announce it through local and social media once the staff is fully trained. “We are very excited about the opportunity to be in Gillette. What a great community!” said Chiasson.
